  • Greg,
Definitely interested, but will have to check with the Mrs. Would love to see you and Candy. Make sure you keep a safe distance from Bobby if he opens up his hot chocolate. He has proven he is dangerous with that! I am looking to do a hike next weekend, too (Jan 2 or 3). I will include you in my correspondence with the guys, in case you have interest!
Thank you! I hike almost every weekend, and can count the number of times I've seen undercast like that on one hand. It's truly magical to be up in the mountains while the clouds are down below you in the valleys - I know you'll get to experience it soon. :)
Nice to see you last night at B's Denali slideshow. Always good to grab a beer with the peeps.
    cool
glad you enjoyed pisgah. the views of the lake are amazing, got weak in the knees looking down some of those cliffs! what else did you hike up there?
Admired your avatar, check mine. Must rival Delicate Arch as the "Motif # 1" of the southwest. My little dog, wife & I had The Wave to ourselves for an early hour in June of '06, wonderous site. My favorite area in the 4 corners is the eastern half of Cedar Mesa/Comb Ridge and the Elk Ridge plateau behind the Bears Ears..
Hi! Thanks for asking about my leg!! Yeah, broke it early October and still dealing with it. I think it's getting better! Not sure what advice to ask for now since it's been so long and I've become pretty used to it... I have plates and screws in it so I wondered about how I might fair when wearing high top boots? Will these bother me any? I guess I'll find out soon enough.
Thanks for the greenie. Wish we were going there again soon, I've no idea when we'll be able to get to Italy again. Beautiful, just beautiful out there, yes?
Yes, that figures. I have high arches, and suffer occassionally from metatarsalgia. I gave up running for awhile, but I'd like to get back to it.
Thanks for the info! I just got my campmor catalog yesterday. I'll check it out. Fortunately, my shin splints only bother me when running on the road. I'm currently seeing a PT for the problem to see if we can resolve it before spring. Thanks!
