    Incredible day for this hike, blue skys great vftt- wore snowshoes the whole way, trail broken until the last spur, tough, fun breaking trail the last 1/2 mile-some drifts over two feet generally about a foot, imagine it is filled in again.

    Great season opener, packed trail with 2" on top, Chance to get out the winter gear and pack, used snowshoes because I could, looks like great winter ahead. Breaks of clouds and sun, saw no one. I always enjoy this little stretch of the legs to get winter rolling.

    I, did not get a chance to post, but we did Potash on Saturday, great conditions, pretty well packed, we used snowshoes for traction, several parties after us, so I am sure it is packed well.     I don't know how much of the Teton range you have done, consider the ALAska Basin from the Idaho side, hanging Canyon near Jenny Lake, holly Lake,Paintbrush Divide, and the classic but beautiful Surprise & Ampitheater lakes.
