    Canon Rebel XSI due April

I haven't seen any user reviews on the newest Rebel XSI (since it's not out yet) but from what I've read of the features compared to my original Digital Rebel, this should be a huge upgrade. Wondering what all you Canon owners are thinking. I'm really looking forward to this one.

    Simple Catskill Hike

Not sure if you've gone yet, but Giant Ledge from Winnisook Lake is a pretty flat walk most of the way, with great views from the numerous ledges. Don't mean to start trouble, but this is the introduction hike I take young kids on! If you need a shorter steeper hike, start from the Giant Ledge...

    What a great morning!

Oh man, David you shaved? I was curious to see you at the dinner and see if it was still growing! A few winters back I let mine grow longer than usual, a regular Grizzly Adams beard. To my surprise, my wife liked it! Said it was nicer and softer. Now that it's getting grayer and whiter, I should...

Thanks Rick, this looks more like it. I have to check out the size. My boat has a very large opening.

    A hard half skirt?

Thanks SK, but I'm not sure if this is it. My understanding was a hard plastic. This may be the best option though. Thanks again.

    A hard half skirt?

Anyone have experience with a hard half skirt, or know where to get one? A friend had seen one some years ago, and that it was made of some type of plastic . I have a Pungo 120 with it's large opening that's so easy getting in and out of. I definately don't want a full skirt but do want a...

Super Bowl - need I say...

Everyone knows that Belichick always has an answer for any scheme that's thrown at them... They didn't blow it...they weren't out coached...The Pats (especially Brady and OF line) were beaten up! The Giants had to get to Brady BIG TIME, and take away their weapons, which left the QB with only...

Trip from Hell (kayak adventure in Canada)

Hey David thanks for the link. I'm definately checking this one out for a while. My son used to catch big blues in the ocean...pulled him around pretty good!...Nicole needs 14 winter peaks yet. With school projects on some weekends, I'm not sure if she's finishing this year or not... Now that I...

Trip from Hell (kayak adventure in Canada)

I didn't even look at the link, I just thought I'd make a funny! David, you know my sence (nonsence sometimes!) of humor. I was going to reply with Columbus sailed the ocean blue in 1492...for spices?! I AIN'T doin' that either!!! Plus it's all up hill from here... right?

    C&C for an autumn image

I think the shot would be better if taken from the left side at an angle instead of head on. It's still a very pleasing shot, though.

    missing hiker - body found

These type of stories are so hard to read. And you're right, there are a lot of creeps out there. I just wonder what makes these low-life's brains work the way they do? I pray for the young lady and her family, that she is only lost and comes out of the woods soon.
