    Women's SPECIFIC Gear (Especially Pants)

Niltiac, let me just say...I totally feel your pain. Decent winter running pants are hard to find, too. And...whine alert...when I do find them, they often seem crazy expensive! (And were probably made in a sweatshop, etc etc etc, waahh...) I do have some shell-type pants from Beans that I...

    Snowmagedon Reports 1_12

MAYBE 6 inches in the Kennebec River Valley area in Maine. Still kind of spitting tiny flakes but not much is accumulating now. I snowshoed tonight...but probably could have just worn boots and been fine. Sheesh! Beautiful cardinal pic, ForestGnome. Man, I really love your work...

    Bog Bridges?

Holy smokes MEB, that is scary stuff. I am curious as to where it was. Glad you are okay. I definitely think that that narrower the gap, the better, but logs are shaped like logs, so, it isn't always possible to get them super tight. Foot width gaps seem like glaring obvious safety hazards...

    Personality Profile

Hah Una! Actually my type dictates that anything involving the word "corporate" also involves brainwashing, so I think you are on to something there. ;) And yes, I think that's very commonly what happens - most people have what you are referring to as a public side and a private side. Plus...
  17. The Unstrung Harp

    Personality Profile

Good points Una. I've actually been studying personality theories for about 15 years. :) I just really don't like the tests because they are not accurate in my opinion. People take them and score as a type, when it is very visible to me that they are another type. Anyway, if anyone wants...

    Personality Profile

The problem with taking online tests for MBTI theories is that they aren't accurate. Partially because people tend to answer them with answers that society says they should choose, rather than their own tendencies....and partially because a lot of this stuff can't really be measured accurately...

My Epic Trek To Owls Head 10-22-11

Great pics and report. Glad you owned the beast in spite of being unsure at first. I like the late color so much, its muted sleepy way allures and warns. And how can anyone not love slush blobs on a crazy chimney?
