    I'll be there too! Nice TR and pics as usual. I think I have planned to hike the Baldface Loop three times and each day the forecast was overcast and rain so I passed on it...someday.

    I have never used this lot - generally approach from other directions - does anyone know if the cog folks would allow a car to be left overnight in their lot? That location makes a lot of sense for a bale spot on an upcoming hike I have planned... Thanks in advance for any info...

    Doug - I totally agree with that suggestion - that is a nice spot....truth is, after you get down the slide - which does not take all that long - it is a pretty easy, flat hike out.
