I picked up a Bearvault also for some trips i hope to do in the Adk's. When i got it my first words were "Yikes!!"!! I also have an Ursack TKO which i will use in less problemed areas and probably in the whites.

I use them for some gear. I've picked up some of the rectangle shaped sacks by OR. They seem to waste less space in my pack. For small gear like xtra socks etc it's more about organization especially in winter when you don't want to rummage through a lot of "stuff".

I've been thinking of this very question recently! Like Ivy i once thought i'd save the Bonds, but i can't wait that long! I've decided that when i get down to 10 or so i'll decide then, but it will be a quieter peak and i'll do it either this fall or winter so the crowds will be gone.
