Trail Conditions: overall in good shape,
Special Equipment Required: none
Comments: - This was an off day, with a trip into Lake Placid. We only went as far as the first open ledge that provided views of the lower great range with Gothics poking out behind Armstrong, along with Saddleback & Basin. Good day for views, on the way back, saw a deer close to us, first one the kids have seen while hiking. (usually too noisy)
