Solo'd the loop yesterday, up the Slide and down Liberty Springs. After last week's rains the ledges were very wet -- might be better to wait for things to dry out a little before tackling this famously steep route to the top of Flume.
Other typically wet and muddy spots were, well, wet and muddy, but there were no deep boot-suckers that I stepped into. Stream crossings -- there are several -- not much of an issue, though consideration needed to be given to a couple of them.
Two very small snow patches on the down side of Flume toward Liberty. After today's heat they'll be even more negligible.
Special equipment: Bug juice (still lots of black flies, even on the summits). And I while I didn't wear them yesterday, gaiters would've been nice. Good strong boots are a necessity on this route (though I saw a couple of kids wearing cross-trainers).
