Date of Hike: 11/16/13
Trail Conditions: trail's in great shoulder-season shape: snow-covered most of the way, with 4-6" above about 3500' and a little ice here and there on the exposed steeps.
Special Equipment Required: Light traction- recommended. Mine got a free ride up; I put them on at the summit and wore them don to the shelter.
Comments: Optional - Very nice walk on a gorgeous, clear morning and great 360 views. Lincoln Gap Road, on the other hand, is really, really treacherous; I made it up from the Warren side in my AWD Honda, but was very surprised to make it down. A Rav4, a Cherokee, and a Forester weren't so lucky.
