Acadia NP 3/26-3/28

Acadia NP. 3/26-3/28 We covered 90% of the peaks in the park. All over 800 ft except Pemetic where I ssume the following trail conditions apply. New snowfall fri night turned to ice over the weekend that made for some difficult hiking on most sections of trail. Of course the ice will most likely be gone next weekend. Other than that the well drained soil on the island was very dry. I would bring some traction regardless of this weeks weather. We did not and suffered for our foolishness.

Acadia is a mountain runners paradise I can't wait to go back.
