Adams& Madison loop up Amphibrach,Spur, down Valley Way 5/14/08

Spur trail snow free until junction with Hincks trail. Monorail above Crag Camp until timberline, then snow & ice free until descent below Madison Hut. Monorail up to 4 feet deep until its end at tent platforms. Two of the three of us used traction for this section. Poles helpful. No blowdowns or difficult stream crossings
