Not even the looong drive home could put a damper on this weekend! Had a fabulous time and want to thank all of you who had a hand in organizing. I really enjoyed meeting a lot of new people whose adventures I follow over on ADKHP. The weather was perfect, the food and drink abundant and tasty and the company top notch. Oh, and I managed to get in two of the best days of hiking I've ever had (TRs to come!). Thanks again!

Thank you Spencer, Maddi and family for all your hard work. It was my first and hope not my last. So many great people in one place? How special is that? Yes the fire frisby was awesome. I hope to see you'all on the trails.

Was glad to have stopped by friday and saturday for some good times, miss out on the real late night schenanigans because I wasn't staying there but still had a fun time. It was good to see Freddy again and hope to be enjoying his new CD soon. I had it squirrelled away somewhere so I couldn't listen to it on the drive home but I shall dig through my stuff soon... Hope to see you in the whites.. bring that guitar of yours too!

Great time, thanks to the hosts, the campground worked out real well. Good to meet the NY PA branch of VFTT. Couldnt ask for better hiking weather.

I even got to introduce Paradox to the infamous Hinesburg shortcut

Nice to meet y'all and see many of you again!

We had a great time, the food was awesome, the beer was epic!

We hiked thru avalanche pass to (Boundary/Boundary), Iroquois, Shepherd's Tooth, (Iroquois), (Boundary/Boundary), Algonquin (and some did Wright) on Saturday.

Sunday we drove over to Loon Lake and climbed the 'new' fire tower.

I sure hated for that to end and I'm looking forward to the next one. I'll have to set up a foot massage stand next time!

We'll have to start frisbee earlier so Phil has time to finetune his catching technique. Thanks UFC for bringing them.

What a great time! It's good to see the nice people from the ADKs being such gracious hosts to the weird New Englanders. What a great mixer! Great to hike the ADKs and then come back to great food, booze and an awesome fire. Nice to put so many faces to the online personalities and to also finally get out to one of these ADK Gatherings! Thank you Spencer and Maddi for hosting! Great time!

I'll echo thanks to Spencer & Maddi.

I wish I had had more time, but I look at it this way. I was there for 15 minutes which lasted a half hour. In that time, I probably met/said "hi" to over 30 people. That means that I probably hold the record for the rate of meeting people.

This is my first VFTT gathering. Great folks, great time! Not much is better than hanging out with the hiking crowd. Very nice to meet the people behind the forum names.

A few impressions:

Cindy's french press wood stain maker
spicy bean & cheese quesadillas keep you warm at night
TJ is a saint for making coffee
I don't ever ever want a foot massage from Clay
I'll start cooking earlier
the weather could not have been better
