Tim, the ADK's High Peaks Trails guidebook and the Nat Geo #742 the new map kit.

Tim, what Yvon said. I'd get the NG map to navigate, but pick up one of the Adirondack Mt Club's topo maps for easier readability and clearer read of terrain, elevation, and topography.

Thanks (Merci)! The online resources seem to use numbers from this and McMartin when referring to trails.
