Trail Conditions: Virtual highway up to the summit of Algonquin. Trail over to Boundary/Iroquois veers to the left and there are many spruce traps along the way, although as long as this current trail lasts you can see and avoid them. Trail to Wright has a good snow foundation over all that ice that was up there a couple of weeks ago.
Special Equipment: Used snowshoes all day. If you have spruce-trap warning bells, bring them along!
Comments: Absolutely fantastic day with incredible views. Cold (below zero when we started out) and windy on the summits, but pleasant in the cols. Clouds rolled in later in the day and by the time I was on Wright, Algonquin was disappearing from sight.
Hikers: Tmax, Guinness, Shin.
