Sunny day. Perfect day without cloud. We take the direct path to the Algonquin peak because the days are shorter and the ranger said the conditions were not very good (3 feets of snow this week). In fact, we found a very muddy trail on the first miles.

after 1 hour we walked on a mix of snow and mud. And after the intersection for the Wright peak, we were very happy to have crampons, like almost all others hikers. Ice and water on the rocks. For the return, i strongly suggest sticks.
