The trail is in the finest condition I have ever seen it and this is my 10th climb of my favorite winter climb. Do yourself a favor and use stableicers or even better crampons for the really steep pitch towards the summit and the summit cone. Big clunky snowshoes are absolutely not needed even though the snowshoe rule is in effect. Just an absolutely big, beautiful mountain wrapped in winters glorious frosted white. As always, a puffy warm parka for the summit would be nice, so you can hang out and enjoy this treasures summit.
