Well packed trail the whole way to the top (thanks to the groups that went in Sat and Sun!). Snow had a crusty top in the am, but had melted out to be a bit softer in the pm. Wore snowshoes the whole way to the top, but crampons would have been a better choice on the slide, it was quite icy with almost no snow over it. Changed to crampons for going down the slide and the first part of the descent. A beautiful winter day with blue skies and no winds.
