Experienced backcountry ski instructors can help you learn new tricks to tackle stream crossings and other bumps along the unbeaten path, or learn the telemark technique to help you descend steeper stretches of woodland trails safely.
To practice your newly learned techniques, instructors will lead tours on the ski trails around AMC's Cardigan Lodge. Indoor discussions will include subjects like ski equipment, proper clothing, cold weather safety, and general knowledge for skiing safely in the backcountry. Participants must have prior experience on X-C or DH skis.
Two nights of lodging at Cardigan Lodge, as well as hearty meals, included.

If the snow is not conducive to backcountry skiing we'll go to local downhill or XC areas to ski. No matter what, we'll have a fine time and all are welcome.
