Admission is free, light refreshments will be available, and everyone who attends is entered into a raffle to win one of two Mad Cards, donated by Mad River Glen Ski Area in Vermont.
At 8:00 PM our own Lei Wang (mountaingirl) will present a slideshow about her ski trips to the North and South Poles as part of her Seven Summits plus 2 Adventure.
Please join us for a fine way to kick off the ski season,

Have you ever wondered:
Lei Wang, a member of AMC Boston, started pursuing her dream of climbing seven summits and skiing to both North Pole and South Pole in 2004. To date, she has finished six of the seven summits, and skied to both Poles earlier this year. Only Mount Everest stands in her way from being the first Chinese woman to finish what is called the “7 + 2” Challenge.
On Dec 3rd, Wednesday, Lei Wang will to share her experience skiing to North Pole and South Pole with a powerful presentation, pictures, and video footage providing attendees a vantage only the most daring and resilient ever get to see.
