Ok, so we all know where the picture on the front cover came from. I've even been there as you can see. But what about the back cover? They're just vague enough that I can't tell.

Pic on the right is somewhere on the Appalachian Trail...so somewhere bewtween Hanover and Maine
And the pic on the left...its pretty vague...Franconia Ridge because I said so! Happy Turkey Day...time to go take a walk in the snow

It looks like how I remember the view north from Lincoln Brook valley. A guess offered with a low degree ot assurance, however.

Somehow I don't think we are all looking at the same photo. I am looking at the back cover of the 26th edition, the one with Mt Lafayette on the front cover.

I think its ( in order left to right) 1) Mount Height with washington in background because of the alignment 2) Great Gulf 3) Ethan Pond trail hard though..-Matt L
