The AMR trailhead is open for the coming weekend. As Phil Brown has posted elsewhere, the Dial and Nippletop trails have been cleared of some heavy blowdown and are open. Noonmark and Round have also been cleared and are open. The first bridge over the river leading to the W.A. White and West River trails is out and won't be replaced for some time. The second bridge leading to Cathedral Rocks and the West River Trail is compromised and closed pending repairs to the far bank - which may also take some time. Canyon, Beaver Meadow, and Lower Lake Dam bridges are all open and provide access to the wolf Jaws, Armstrong, Gothics, and Sawteeth. While thos trails are still officially closed as of Friday morning, they may be checked and opened since it appears the blowdown was not as bad on that side of the valley. No idea when the Colvin Trail will be declared to be "passable".
The Deer Brook Trail to Snow Mt. remains closed, in part due to bridge construction ongoing at the trailhead. The "low water" route through the flume is badly damaged and cannot be recommended even after the rest of the trail is opened.

Update

Weld Trail to Pyramid, Gothics, and Sawteeth is now open after I checked it yesterday. Some blowdown for 1/4 mile just after the AMR boundary and apparently some more going up Sawteeth, but nothing that can't be negotiated. Beaver Meadow Trail remains closed until we deal with a slide that crosses the trail at the bottom of the steep climbing.

9-23 Update

All trails leading from the Lake Road are now open with the exception of the W.A. White Trail - and that is only because the river bridge is out. Deer Brook Trail remains closed as well due to bridge construction at the tailhead. Also, the bridge at the Washbowl on the Ridge Trail to Giant has been extended to cross the wider outlet caused by the higher water level.
