Anyone Ever Found the Westkill Mt. Crash Site?

I have heard of a crash site on Westkill Mt. in the Catskills "far off the trail above Ox Clove" but cannot find any useful directions to this site. Has anyone ever been there from the Devils Path? I am going up to Westkill Nov. 12th and wanted to do Sherrill and North Dome one day and Westkill and the crash site in a second day.

Can anyone give me coordinates or directions from the col between North Dome and Westkill?

Might want to give Hermit a PM, he knows of it... This was in the early 80s I think and may be closer to St. Anne's Peak than Westkill but in any case, if that is the same one, Hermit showed me pictures of the crash. Not a pretty picture

Thanks. I have an idea of where it Might be. He sent me an email last night. Going to take some serious bushwacking but at least I have a general area in mind.

I might be interested depending on when you're planning on doing this. I still haven't climbed St. Anne's (West- West Kill) and have been meaning to do so. I would also like to climb the main West Kill peak during fall foliage season so perhaps all of these agendas could be combined........
