Anyone hiking after the summer BBQ

I'm hanging around untill Wed and i wanted to hike Marcy tues camp out and return back on wed. anyone interested, going up the easy way.. not racing.. want to enjoy the hike.. thx also thought about some type of rafting or canoeing on monday to relax my legs.. trying to do a bit of everything before heading home to long island

If you are interested, a few of us are heading into the Sewards on Sun afternoon to hike Seward, Donaldson and Emmons on Mon with possible hike out Mon or Tuesday morning.

First i'm a jr. member, means i talk more than i walk,,, gotta be careful or you'll be helping me.. noticed you work with dr.'s... i'm a newbi and i don't know what to expect on sat.. or sun.. pretty sure i should rest on mon and try Marcy because i don't know when i'll ever get to leave the family again for a few days.. ps my wife wanted me to take her to hang out with friends at wildwood and i was going to camp out in cape may..saw you were from there.. that idea was cancelled because i have to drive my eldest to binghamton to start school.. see i'm talking way to much.. let's see how i do on sat.. thx for invite anyway... I'm considering a kayak camping thing Sunday till Monday or Tuesday... I'm going to post a few more details or two to the main BBQ thread because there's just not enough posts on that thread.

Pat, Marge, and I will be in Lake Placid for the whole week following the Gathering. One of the hikes we will definitely be doing is Marcy-Skylight-Gray, but as a day trip. That will require an early start, so if you're interested...there'll be lots of planning going on over the weekend, I'm sure.

Thx for info... I have to leave Wed morning to go back to Long Island.. I would love to check out Marcy before then if i'm physically able... got a left knee problem the last 2 days and it's bumming me out,, Warren is going kayaking, you guys are going to Marcy.. i'm so confused on what to do! I hope i don't bite off to much on Sat. I'm just going to follow somebody.. Am i crazy?
