Hiked the AT from the powerlines above Hemlock Ridge Rd. to Norwich. Mostly snow covered with icy sections. I made it fine in bareboots, but there were some spots I wish I had poles and/or traction devices.
A few more warm days, and I think it will be down to dirt... err, mud.
