EMS has these snowshoes on sale for 148.98 right now. This is the best price by far that I have found. Yes I did order a set.

I like mine. Just make sure you are tucked in around the waist...they have a tendency to kick snow up your back.

My husband and I like ours too, though we always opt for our 22" Tubbs in packed not-too-steep snow (only because they are lighter). They are a few years old, though - and they don't kick snow up our backs - sounds like they changed the design. I tried some Redfeathers once that had a springing action like that and didn't like them at all.

I've had mine for about as long as KD...they've been through a lot and have held up quite well...this weekend while hiking, though I could not feel it, a fellow hiker told me that they were kicking up quite a bit of snow on my backside.....

Snow on your back....

is from the spring loaded binding - the same technology that is supposed to give you the springy feeling also kicks up a bit of snow.
