Trail is very wet & slippery. It was a combination of walking through a stream and on a monorail towards the top. Two difficult water crossings. The first stream, normally small, is now raging. Someone had placed 2 metal pipes across part of it, which was really helpful The second stream you could walk across a branch, then hop on rocks, though they were submerged. On my way down, slipped and fell, and then again, crossing the brook!
It was raining most of the hike, and as I got higher up,the rain turned into light snow. No views from the summit.
I didn't use any traction. Rainclothes and poles were a necessity.
Not a great hike today.
