this is the site to check weather at all the huts etc, one of my favorite sites on the web.

There seems to only be posts from about oct. to may.
does anyone know why they do not post the weather year round?

They have weather stations up at the huts but I've only seen posts in late fall through mid May or so...sometimes a little later. I wish they'd record the highs and lows at each hut and post them online so I could get a sense of average temperature, but thats what makes hiking in the Whites so much fun!

do you mean year round? cuz they do post the high and low for each day.

seems like they should do it year round, its really helpful getting exact beta versus only looking at summit and valley forecasts.....

They probably don't post the Hut's weather year round due to the same reason they don't post the Hut's backcountry trail conditions year round. It's a lot of work, and there is not as much need for it compared to the cold weather months.

The RMC does the same thing for Gray Knob.

I am sure in a few years when things get more automated, they will be posted year round.
