Well..better late than never I suppose.....I took this hike a couple weeks ago, on 4/29/12, and I enjoyed it so much that I thought I'd share my experience. I had hiked this trail a couple times before, but the first time I went the wrong way. This time I hiked from Bloodbrook Rd in Fairlee VT down to Lake Morey, and then to the center of town. Without further ado...

I enjoy this view at the trailhead

Views from Bald Top are distant, but very nice...lots of prominent peaks to be seen...

I saw a side trail leading down to some "falls." Great I thought...time to check them out. I was surprised with just how beautiful they were. Next pics are of Glen Falls.

I walked into the center of Fairlee, and still had some time. So I hiked up the Palisades trail (right name?) along I 91 and got a few pics.

CT River, and I think thats Ascutney way out there

I couldn't go the whole way because of Peregrine Falcon nesting. Still, this was a nice way to end the day.

Hope you liked!
