Balsam and Eagle next Saturday.

We'll be doing a Catskills hike next Saturday. Good chance it will be Balsam and then a bushwack back to the car from the summit of Eagle.

Peakbagr..I got the ok from the wife..sounds like this trip is for me..trail going up..and bushwhack coming down..am i correct?..I think Jay's trip is out of my league for now. please advise ..thx..how many people going?..

Its just my regular hiking partner and I. Both of us came down with wicked colds, today is the first full day for me. I may be in a position of not knowing until Friday unless this headcold goes away quicker than they usually do.
