Trail Conditions: Slightly muddy with some minor blowdowns, fairly decent condition though for this time of year.
Special Equipment Required: Snow-free-trail easily followed to water crossing above Kinsman Falls. Crossing above falls impossible without major wading in fast current.
Comments: Not a major through-trail, but I thought it worth mentioning that anyone planning to use this route to reach Lonesome Lake or above will need to consider the difficult water crossing where you will be sure to get wet. A somewhat beaten bushwhack path follows the northern side of the brook, but it is very, very muddy and I would not recommend it. Water levels on Thursday were extremely high and the cascades were a sight to see!
