Judy's not much for writing so I've made a deal w/ her..I'll write up our TR and she'll add thought when I'm done
...We met WinterWarlock (Scott) HighonLife(Nancy) and good buddy Snickers(Cindy)(Does she have clones?? She's all over) at 6AM in the Garden..which was close to being full Cheech would stay home w/ a headache along w/ Shiloh who's paws were a bit sore after 2 days of intense hiking....We geared up..Nancy w/ no water...A ploy to travel lighter I was sure...And Cindy sans lunch that was forgotten in our fridge...Not my fault....It was fast walk in to JBL w/ lots of talking and laughing... much to the chagrin of some LeanTo occupants along the way...heehee....A quick crossing of Johns Brook and the beautiful walk up to Slant Rock...(Followed Moose Tracks all the way up toward Shoreys--Very cool)...A snack at Slant Rock where Cindy sent MtLady off to her finish on Haystack w/ a WhooHoo..and we were on our way up Shoreys....The views of Basin began to open up and could sense that Judy was finally realizing how close she was..A quick walk down to the Range Trail and up we all went....Higher and higher..soaking in the fantastic views of Haystack and then Marcy as we climbed...A surprise visitor overtook us as we hiked...JoeCedar had decided to join our little trip as he looped over Sawteeth, Haystack and whatever else he was doing that day--(truly unbelievable)...It really made Judy's day that he would take time to help her celebrate..As the time arrived, up Judy went to hoots, hollers and hugs from all..Nancy provided music and a little summit dancing ensued. Patches, stickers and gifts were handed out...Scott flew his kite--(sort of) and I think I was more proud and excited than Judy was...Great Job Sweety...Love You soooo Much...After the festivities, some eats and stretching for Scott, goodbye to Joe as he was heading out of sight and we were off to Saddleback where we had a few "pucker" moments going up the cliffs...Another semi-fear conquered for Judy..More kite flying and a cheer for an 11 y/o girl who had just finished #22..very impressive!! Hung out for a while soaking in the views and the sun, but it was soon time to head down..

Hi, this is Judy....I just want to thank everyone for making my day great! I had a blast hiking with Cindy, Scott and Nancy...of course thanks Joe for being part of my finish...and last I want to thank my hubby for hiking with me and being so patient...without my Sweetie I wouldn't have been able to accomplish this...I'm so glad to have you in my life! Love you more...
