A quick morning hike on the gentle Beane Trail - soft treadway, well-blazed, no blowdowns.
A young Golden Retriever refused to "Go home!" and accompanied us to Birch Glen on the LT and back to Carse Road, where she trotted home. This would make a great 1st snowshoe hike with young children (with or without the pup).
