Bear Hill & Black Spruce Pond - Natchaug, Forest Discovery Goodwin Heritage trails
Date of Hike: 06/29/2013
Trail Conditions: Dry in most spots, vegetation growing well making finding the trail across a couple of the roads a bit of a challenge but not over the trail.
Special Equipment Required: Bug Spray, Bug Spray, Bug Spray, Spam, Spam, Bug Spray, Bug Spray, Bug Spray, Bug Spray, Bug Spray, Bug Spray, and Spam.
Comments: Optional - Pack 109 Summer Camp Out at Goodwin State Forest. Warm and humid the bug spray I had put on (30% Deet) had worn off some and the mosquitos were the worst I can ever recall in CT. I know I've got to find my Ben's 100 before my ADK trip next week.
