Beautiful snowy long day on saturday up very very steep trail to shelter. used mostly snowshoes, but stabilicers useful at cascades. the way down was fast and fun. we were surprised to be awakened in the middle of the night by meowing. in the morning we found an adorable little very young, very furry, very loveable black cat sitting on steve's backpack. we fed him, comforted him, petted him, and were all set to take him home, but he ran off into the snow as we were packing up our tent. anyone know anything about this little guy? i'm worried he won't survive the winter out there!
