Date of Hike: 02/04/2018
Trail Conditions: ICY! (blue and black), deep powdery snow in sections.
Special Equipment Required: Microspikes - ESSENTIAL, snowshoes - useful, crampons - useful
Comments: I slid (not just slipping but actually sliding, like on my butt) several times even with microspikes. Wound up bushwhacking around particularly treacherous sections but if I had crampons I would've just changed into those.
