I'm looking for any information from folks who know more about winter hiking than myself. I would dearly love to be checking off some, at least, of the 10 summits I have left of the NH48 within the next few weeks, but I am unsure of what the best hikes and routes would be given conditions and road closures. I am seriously thinking I would like to bag Isolation on Saturday, but not sure what I might be up against there, including crossing Rocky Branch. I'm guessing that Rocky Branch Trail to Isolation Trail to Davis Path would be the best route, but not sure of that either. My other remaining peaks include Owls' Head and the Bonds plus North Twin. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, and if you think you'd like to come along, that would be great as well!!!! :)
Thanks to all in advance,

Thanks for all the advice Kevin. I am so NOT good at route finding that it would be humorous except that it could be dangerous!!! LOL ..... Even bushwhacking to avoid stream crossings out to Isolation would be sketchy for me without someone along to make sure I'm not heading WAY off course!! Hard to believe perhaps, but trust me on this!! LOL
N.Twin and the Bonds would definitely be doable on my own, but I am thinking I would like to save the Bonds for my 48th. So, I guess I'll just have to think about the other few I have left, or find someone to join me. Thanks again for all your help; I appreciate it :D.

Ok, so here's a follow-up question regarding the typical route up to Isolation. If I decide the bushwhacks to avoid stream-crossings are out, how difficult might the crossings be right now? I think I would still like to do this on Saturday, but I'm told the bushwhacks are not easy to manage this time of year, and if there's any snow on the trees I'm gonna end up soaking wet. Anyone have any ideas for me?

Rte 302 crosses the Rocky Branch right by Jericho Road (the road to the other end of the Rocky Branch Trail). Am I remembering those names right? Anyway, you can take a look at the river right there, then mentally drop a bunch of flow off for the several miles up to where the trail crossings are.

Thanks Michael. If I do decide I'm going to give it a shot, and I think I probably will, it would obviously save me a lot of trouble to have a look there before I commit to this trek.
