Big Slide via Three Brothers on 11/28. A few inches of fresh snow for the first mile or so, stabilicers were adequate. Hit deeper snow, changed to snowshoes and broke trail in 12 to 18 inches of fresh snow until the junction with the Slide Brook Trail. Not enough snowpack to cover all the rocks and roots, can still catch a snowshoe pretty easily. A good variety of conditions from deep snow to windswept rock ledges with just a few inches of snow and glazed icy rock underneath.
