Date of Hike: 5/16/2016
Trail Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet Rock, Mud- Significant, Standing Water on Trail, Blowdowns
Special Equipment Required: None
Comments: Did a nice afternoon loop to Lapland Pond, Black Mountain Pond, and Black Mountain in Clemons, NY. Many parts of the pond trails were quite muddy, but thankfully GoreTex boots did the trick. The ascent of the south side of Black Mtn was mostly dry; descent of the north side was far more wet and muddy. Fortunately, the view from the top was awesome.
