Beautiful, brisk day will full sunshine from start to finish -- a great day for snowshoeing or generally being up in the mountains!
The trails (Black Dome Range and Blackhead Mountain) to Blackhead was nicely packed all the way to the peak and not icy, except for a small stretch just beyond the parking lot at the beginning. Wore snowshoes all day, although we did see two hikers going for Thomas Cole in crampons only. Great views near the top where they were available!
