Over the weekend, we hosted 13 well behaved hikers, and 3 ill-behaved Labs. 
I suppose the dogs were a little freaked out being in a small cabin, so I forgave them.
Anyway, up we went Saturday morning. Snowshoes were on the whole way. Some poor slob had bare booted up a few days before.
We arrived around 10:15 and I started a fire while Laurie went for water. It was 23 when I started the fire and several hours later, it was up to 71!
During the day, CatskillHiker stopped in with an s.o. In this case, s.o. = Stout Offering, 2 awesome Stouts from out west, called Zonker. Mmmmmm! His wife was there too!
We were also joined by a young couple and 2 guys from NYC. Everyone was having a great time in the new powder. There must be a million snowshoe hares up there!
Sunday we woke to more fine powder. After a few hours, Sparty stopped by ever so briefly to say hi, on his way to Graham. Just as we were leaving, 6 people showed up with the 3 excitable labs. We let them all in. The dogs were going nuts so we eventually kicked them out. It' ok, they were fine!
We left around 2:30 and headed back for a private Valentine's day celebration!
