trails: (from first crown point rd. parking) main loop, various trails to and from baldy
conditions: lots of bare ground and rock. some significant snow/ice on left branch of loop (looking up from parking) and on trails in woods to baldy.
equipment: may want some light traction for some sections of trail, but it will be coming on and off a lot.
comments: a nice short hike as always. stiff cold winds in the open sections, but warm in the sun. spring is really hitting this part of the state.
