Date of Hike: 08-05-2012
Trail Conditions: Day was a mix of pouring rain & gray skies so the trail was pretty wet. a few big trees had are down in the last 1/4 mile as you approach the Hudson.
Special Equipment Required: Ultralight bvreathable rain gear, The choice on this humid wet day before the front cleared was wet from rain or wet from wearing a coat.
Comments: Optional - The hike wasn't overly long (5 miles round trip and maybe 100 feet of elevation gain) overly hard and the lake at the beginning and the hudson were scenic & the ledges pretty impressive (I like the Hudson crossing on the way to Allen & Adams better) but the rain & day after Crane & day before Phelps just made me think of this as a slog on Sunday. We'll have to go back on a nicer day....
