Blueberry Mtn, (Benton Range) traverse beta

I'm thinking of hiking Blueberry Mtn. as a traverse on tuesday, and wondering if anyone has any firsthand knowledge of this trail, especially the western trailhead on Page Rd. I have heard that the trail can be hard to follow from that side. I'm not looking for current conditions, just some general trail beta.

Oh yeah, I guess I should check if Long Pond Road is open, too.

edit: just checked, and usfs road page, says that Long Pond Rd. is only open north of the pond, but I'd still appreciate the info, thanks.
