Date of Hike: 11/23/12
Trails: Lincoln Woods, Bondcliff, West Bond Spur
Trail Conditions: One blowdown on the Bondcliff Trail about a mile past the camp 16 clearing, you have to walk around and off trail to get by. We hiked on Friday before the weather came in, so bring your microspikes for traction now, water crossings probably have glaze ice on the rocks above the water.
Comments: Great weather for a late November hike. Awesome views above treeline, the Bonds are always a magical place. FYI for those with older maps and guide books the Bondcliff Trail now starts at the Pemigewasset Wilderness Boundary across the Franconia Brook bridge, this 1.8 mile section used to be part of the Wilderness Trail.
