Bondcliff & Bond 1/13/08
Trail Conditions: Wilderness Trail to Bondcliff Trail, returned the same way. The trail was tracked out the entire way. The snow/ice cover between Bondcliff and Bond was very thin.
Special Equipment Required: Because the hardpacked snow was frozen over some kind of traction device was necessary. We used crampons. Stablicers would have done the job as well.
Comments: Optional - A glorious sunny day. We started at 4:30AM, finished at 5:00PM and didn't see a single soul the entire way. It felt like we had the Pemi to ourselves. Thanks Mike for a great hike.
