Headed into see what the ice was looking like, The trail to the junction with the ski trail is mostly mud with patches of thin ice. From the junction to the falls you need to stay in the middle of trail and then you can bare boot it.
Stream crossing are not a problem, until get to the falls.
If you are staying in the shelter, cut down dead trees away from the shelter, why cut down the live trees.
Still lots of ice in the area, it snowed on the way out.
