Trail conditions: Perfect. Hard packed base, no post holes, no downed trees, all water crossings were iced/snowed over.
Special equipment: Snowshoes with cleats. My MSR Lightnings were all I needed.
Comments: Limited parking at the turnout due to snowplow bank. Since this trail is not used much, there is enough room for a few cars, which is more than adequate. Beautiful view of Tongue Mountain from the summit.
