Almost no snow at trailhead; some snow two-thirds of the way to the summit, but nothing that needed snowshoes. Microspikes, crampons, or stabilicers necessary for ice, which began in earnest about halfway up (with isolated patches earlier). People I encountered who hiked up from Pilot Knob reported much less ice.
