Date of Hike: 4/24/2008
Trip Report/Trail Conditions: Started out along the Washburn Trail (white) at Route 9D. There are tons of views along the way, so take your time and soak in the wonderful views. Followed the Washburn Trail down to the Highland/Notch Trail (blue) and explored many of the ruins from the old Edward Cornish estate. Took the Brook Trail (red) back down to Route 9D, as the sun was setting. All of the trails were dry as a bone, though the streams were full. There were a few sections coming down Bull Hill that were slippery, due to their leaf cover.
Equipment: Just a good pair o' shoes.
Comments: Nice hike with tons of great views. If you're interested in history, the Cornish ruins are a real treat. There's an entire village of ruins tucked between Bull Hill and Breakneck Ridge!
