Date of Hike: Friday, August 31st
Trail Conditions: The Mount Cabot Trail has brand new no trespassing signs, "Notice, Trail Closed. AMC trail is in Berlin, this is not a trail to Mt. Cabot, please call AMC @ 466-2721 (Ext. 0). No Trespassing, Violaters Prosocuted Under Penalty of Law." ~ Crane's, Owner.
Starr King Trail: Trail was in excellent shape, it was pouring on us the whole way up and the trail stayed clear with no running water or mud puddles.
Comments: The last time I hiked the Cabot Trail in 2010 there were old and faded no trespassing signs, these were brand new. Unexpected rain showers while hiking Waumbek but we still had fun. Pictures
